Summer time means festival time in Rommersdorf Abbey

The English Garden in the Abbey grounds turns into a theatre venue, with popular regional companies staging anything from modern children's plays to comedy. The old Abbey church is the setting for classical music and literature recitals of nationally renowned artists. Cooperations with cultural institutions and the broadcaster SWR add to the fabulous mix of performances that fill the usually tranquil precincts of the Abbey with the sound of music and laughter.
